In this course, participants will first explore the fundamentals of AI in student engagement, then examine real-world tools and classroom applications, and finally reflect on ethical considerations, implementation strategies, and future trends. 


By the end of the course, participants will create an AI-Integrated Student Engagement Plan, blending innovation with ethical responsibility and inclusivity- empowering them to lead their schools into a more adaptive, student-centered future.




In this course, participants will begin by developing a practical understanding of how artificial intelligence can support student engagement in everyday teaching. They will explore foundational AI-enabled practices such as personalized feedback, adaptive learning supports, and interactive tools that encourage active participation and motivation across diverse classroom settings. The focus is on using AI as a support for sound pedagogy, helping teachers enhance engagement without losing the human-centered nature of teaching.

Participants will then examine real-world AI tools and classroom applications through relatable teaching scenarios and guided activities. They will analyze how these tools can be integrated into lessons and learning activities to address different learner needs, learning styles, and levels of access to technology. Throughout this stage, the course emphasizes inclusive and context-sensitive approaches that allow educators from various disciplines and grade levels to apply AI meaningfully in their own classrooms.

In the final phase of the course, participants will reflect on ethical considerations, implementation strategies, and emerging trends related to AI use in education, with particular attention to fairness, data privacy, and cultural relevance in the Philippine context. By the end of the course, participants will create an AI-Integrated Student Engagement Plan that combines innovative practice with ethical responsibility and inclusivity, empowering them to lead their schools toward a more adaptive, student-centered future.
